CLEVELAND, Oh. (June 8, 2017) – Monarch Teaching Technologies, a special education software leader, announces that the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) has officially endorsed its interactive visual learning platform, Vizzle, for the second time.
CASE endorsements are granted solely to the products and solutions recognized as being able to meet the needs of students with special needs. The CASE Product Committee takes great care to research the products through a thorough evaluation, verifying that they meet state and federal government requirements.
Monarch Teaching Technologies president and CEO, Bob Gephart, and Anthony Gerke, Senior Account Executive, have worked closely with the CASE Product Committee over the years. “Vizzle was designed by experts specifically for teachers and administrators working with students with special needs,” said Gephart. “To be endorsed by CASE again serves to reinforce the impact Vizzle is making within the community of special education teachers and students.”
The Vizzle library offers thousands of lessons, games and activities that can be tailored to any grade or skill level and then assigned to students. Using a tablet or computer, students can log into the Vizzle platform to play their lessons while data is automatically collected and recorded to be used in measuring IEP goals and objectives.
Vizzle was created in collaboration with educators and experts of students with special needs at the Monarch Center for Autism and researchers for Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In nearly 1000 schools across the country, Vizzle is helping over 33,000 students with special needs learn the curriculum, develop skills and better understand concepts.
The Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) is an international professional education organization affiliated with the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), whose members are dedicated to the enhancement of the worth, dignity, potential, and uniqueness of each individual in society. Those who receive special education services are individuals who possess basic rights and responsibilities, and who command respect at all times.
